There are a number of different types available through the SEAI website.
Home Insulation Grant
This includes attic insulation, cavity wall insulation, dry lining, and external insulation. A home can lose over 30% of its heat due to poor insulation. The obvious benefits of proper insulation are a warmer home at a lower cost. More Information.
Heating Controls Grant
Reduce energy costs by up to 20% to help you plan and optimize your usage. Heat your hot water without having to turn on your home heating. You can also split your home into heating zones for further efficiency. More Information.
Solar Water Heating Grant
Solar thermal systems are designed to meet 50-60% of overall hot water needs. Once again heating your water with solar thermal will reduce your energy consumption, which once again leads to the benefits listed above. More Information.
Solar Electricity Grant
Solar panels can help to reduce your electricity bill by €200-€300 per year. This might not sound like a whole lot, but you will improve your Building Energy Rating (BER), thereby increasing the resale value of your home. More Information.
Free Upgrades for Social Welfare Payments
